Tired Of Not Sleeping Well?

Difficulty going to sleep or staying asleep is a symptom of many conditions. It is essential to get this symptom alleviated as soon as possible because lack of sleep can be quite disruptive to daily activities, and a tired body is a slow healing body.

Sleep disorders can be caused by an imbalance in biochemistry, medical drug side effects, a weak pineal gland, or all of the above. The pineal gland is responsible for the production of melatonin - our natural sleep hormone. Melatonin is made from serotonin. Serotonin is made from an amino acid called tryptophan, a once popular natural sleep aid.

The FDA took tryptophan off the market a few years ago because it was thought to cause a painful muscle disorder. Even though a few months later this was disproven, tryptophan is still unobtainable in the U.S. Now if you want tryptophan, you've got eat lots of turkey, since tryptophan is found in high concentration in turkey meat. I guess the FDA forgot to ban turkey meat from the market too.

In my opinion, it is not wise to use melatonin as a sleep aid. Unlike tryptophan, which fed the pineal gland the raw material to synthesize melatonin, melatonin taken orally bypasses the pineal gland function. This weakens the gland and can create a dependency on the oral melatonin.

The real answer to sleep disorder is to find and treat the underlying cause, whether it be a biochemical imbalance, the medical drugs used, and/or a weak pineal gland (or other organ dysfunction).

Client Success

About a year ago I was suffering with a health problem that was literally ruining my life. I had severe fatigue and a tiredness like I had never felt. No matter how many hours I slept I was always very tired. Getting through a normal day was excruciating and sometimes just not possible.

I spent hours and hours researching all I could about possible causes and tried numerous remedies on my own that I had found on the Internet in hopes of ridding myself of this condition. Nothing I tried improved my condition.

I went to a highly recommended Medical Doctor who was unable to come up with a cause for my condition after a physical exam and reviewing lab work. I then went to a Chiropractor and to a natural health clinic... all to no avail. I was getting no help and no change in my condition and it seemed to be getting worse. What was even more frustrating is that I was only 38 years old and it didn't make sense that this would be happening to me.

Out of desperation one night I starting to do more research on the Internet and I came to learn about Clinical Kinesiology. I immediately starting searching for doctors in the local area and found Doctor Piro's website and contacted their office to get more information and to set up an appointment.

I came in for my initial consultation, completed a detailed medical history and was sent out for lab work. During my meeting with Doctor Piro I felt like I was in the hands of a competent, caring medical professional. In my consultation she explained her testing and diagnostics procedures and answered all my questions. This was followed by one of the most thorough physical exams I had ever had by any doctor. At this point, I started to have hope that maybe something could be done about this.

My tests came back and I was relieved that they had confirmed the doctors suspicions. At that point the doctor created a tailor-made program for me.

One thing I was really impressed by was the use of objective diagnostics to assess my condition. I didn't get a snap-judgment as to what was wrong, or a mere guess or someone's subjective opinion as to what was going on.... we reviewed my test results and saw what they said. That coupled with the doctor's extensive background provided an accurate picture of what was really going on.

I left the office with my natural medicines and nutritionals and started on my road to recovery. It was slow going, for a while. Even though this condition had taken quite a few years to develop and even though I had been suffering with it for a couple of years now, I somehow expected a 48-hour miracle turnaround. The doctor explained that it would take some time for the body to heal itself but to be patient because she was confident we could handle it. After a few months, I saw some slight improvements but would relapse from time to time and started feeling like I wasn't making much progress.

At 3 months I received another round of tests and they showed improvement. This made me optimistic and I decided to stick with the program. I continued the program and slowly but surely things improved. By the 6 month mark I was having fewer relapses and was seeing glimpses of my old self. I continued on and we adjusted the program as my body changed and improved. And then finally one day I just stopped being tired. It just sort of snuck up on me. The relapses stopped and my health steadied. I started sleeping like never before and I could feel my body regenerating and rebuilding a health I hadn't felt in a very long time. From this point forward I've been rock solid health wise.

It's been probably close to a year now since I've had any tiredness and my health has been wonderful. I haven't been tired or fatigued for such a long time I've forgotten how bad it used to be. My energy is very high and I can go 15hrs/day if I need to.

Being self-employed my performance at work is critical to my survival. I am so glad to have all my energy back and be able to enjoy not only my work once again but also the other aspects of my life that are just as important.

Doctor Piro and her team are my miracle workers. My friends and family are astounded at my recovery and so am I.

I wanted to thank all of you formally for all your support, help and care during my treatment program; I have my life back thanks to you!

I also wanted to encourage others who may be facing difficult, unresolved or long standing health problems to come and see what the Dr. Piro can do for you. And for anyone who has been on a program for a while now, just keep at it. The rewards of following through and completing it, is the achievement of not only great health but all that comes with being able to live life to its fullest... and that I can attest that it is absolutely priceless.

Thanks again,
